Wild Goose Waltz

wild goose flapping his wings“Wild Goose Waltz”

Near our house, there are ponds and land near the Sun River where the Canada Geese like to nest each year.  It’s delightful when the nesting geese return to become subjects for my camera.  As I spend hours sitting in my blind watching them, I learn how they spend their days.  On this day, I found this goose reaching out for a waltzing partner!  He was ready to dance.

This image of the Wild Goose Waltz can be purchased here in my gallery.  You can purchase it as notecards, giclee prints, framed or unframed, and also as gallery wrapped on canvas.  These products come in various sizes to fit your needs.

Why is there a copyright sign on this image?

Artists and photographers love to share what they do with people who are interested in their work.  From the moment an artist creates an image, (or a camera captures an image)-that image becomes actual property of the person who created it.  The copyright symbol on our images, is there to reinforce  that fact.

Artists and photographers make a living from the sales of these images.

This is why we artist types ask that you do not download our images to your computers or use them without our express permission.  It’s simply not nice to take something that belongs to someone else.  On the other hand, we’re mostly very nice people, and happy to work with you if you see a special need where you can use our work.  Just ask what the price would be and give us a chance to work with you!

Sincerely,

Donna Ridgway
